So...a pretty old post.lol

Right after exams, I went with the guys to go check out Uniqlo's grand opening in Fahrenheit 88.

Due to crazy kiasuness of Malaysians, I heard people started camping outside since 11 pm the night before.

=.=

We, normal people decided to come in the afternoon thinking that the crowd will disperse..but NOOO

We were stupid and wrong...there was like 5000 people lining up and we decided just to check out music shops and wander around.

At night, we went to Laundry@Curve for a gig featuring 3 of Malaysian's top bands

I saw something interesting today when my friend gave Sarah a hot coffee.

It's not my first time tho but I think it's rather cool.

IT CAME TO MALAYSIA :)

It's the self-heating hot chocolate. Comes in coffee too

Sorry la I jakun all but seriously I have never seen it in any supermarkets also :(

Should try Jaya Grocer or Cold Storage edi

So this thingy works as a self heating can in which involves various procedures:

1) turning upside down

2) press one button 1.5 cm deep

3) shake it

4) turn upside down and wait 3 minutes

and voila! hot chocolate. It's made in Malaysia. Lol believe it

I'm still very stressed out :(

I really can't wait for exams to just come and go and enjoy 4 months break :)

I tend to dislike weekends now

Why?

Because every week, Monday 1pm in particular I have to pass up a weekly submission for Marketing theory & Practice subject.

That'll be 10 submissions in total and its like a mini assignment, but at this rate it seems like a real assignment :(

And the super-strict-act-nice-bulldog-faced teacher i tell you simply minus your marks for no particular reason.

Sigh.

I personally think that MTV should actually prepare for the rain
just like last year.Conclusion is that it WILL rain every MTV Worldstage lol

Apart from the technical glitches and the really claustrophobic uncomfortable atmosphere,
THIS EVENT REALLY ROCKED MALAYSIA.
Like I stood there with Sarah, Helena and Carson so long just to see Katy Perry and the gang except Tokio Hotel.lolThat one not really interested. I do like their songs and all but i would prefer if they give more time to Bunkface or Katy Perry :D

And i made another mistake:I didnt bring my DSLR. So pictures obviously sucked. ;(
Thus the stealing from Joshuaongys and AngelKlein's blog :D

Sam from Bunkface. :) Now using Gibson guitars edi. Not bad...Upgrades :)
They really impressed me if you know how Bunkface performed live last time :D

Then waited for like 30 minutes or so to set up for their 'stage'

They shoot out sparks-like thingy from this ciplak guitar. lol I was amazed. again hahahah

Thennnn..was waiting 45 minutes for Tokio Hotel 's stage.
Dam melampau la..need 4 stack amps EACH. 2 keyboards on eleevated platform EACH. and a super elevated platform for the drums. heh

Bill (lead singer) was wearing his stupid scorpion-king-like-body-armor when he elevated from bottom of the stage. That was expected tho lol

He took it off after one song cos he probably found himself immobilized by that shit. Lol loser :D

I wonder where he buys his clothes from. Germany also got Sungai Wang wei

Waahhahaa..and the finalee KATY PERRY!!
This one waited dam long cos they fixing the LED screen (got electrocuted by the rain) and some other technical stuff.

But it was freaking worth it :D

She plays a Gibson and a Taylor for Thinking of you :D She's really good :) Not like those calefare artist strum one D chord and let the whole band play. She played most of the parts ;)

Seriously lacking in sleep and to get to KL,I have 2 choice,
either to take KTM(followed by LRT) or drive with cars inching because of the jam.

Seriously la i dare anyone to take the KTM for one month or one week also can,
that is during peak hours only:) See how u suffocate inside that small torture chamber going at a speed of 8.75 km/h.

Finally ive got the will and time to blog about prom
heh...
pics are not in order so just pretend its in order la.
hahaha..

So Prom was held at Sunway Hotel Grand Ballroom as usual
heard that Taylors have been using the same venue for like few consecutive years.lol
Prom was alright i guess..but there were improper planning for the event and everything was delayed to about 2 hours including my performance..

We're scheduled to play at 1015 but only given the stage about 1145-12?
AND PEOPLE WERE OUTSIDE taking pictures and chatting..Some even left for MOS already.

This was ultimately the outcome of a particular band i wont mention who ;) who kind of like 'suck' during their performance and everyone left with disqust.lol
Im not being biased but that's what everyone said like

But we still manage to put on a show la.

Never in any country u will experience drivers like Malaysia..They literally go crazy and will transform a Kancil to a Lamborghini anytime especially if it is Puasa period.Hungry ma.lol
We can also park on the side of the road SUDDENLY to enjoy some cendol, goreng pisang,durian. Um try doing that in Singapore or other countries.;)

9. No natural disaster
Cmon face it people.Even Parameswara and all the Penjajah's chose Malaysia cos of it's unique location on the map.We are shielded from many natural disasters and we do not have 4 seasons in our country, just Seasons Soya Bean ;)
We often complain how the recession HITS us or even a stone fall from a lorry also u curse the bugger,other countries have to prepare to hide under the table during Maths class or something okayy.lol Be grateful ;)

8. Pirated DVD
No offence im not trying to promote piracy here ok.ISA please dont catch me.lol
Never in a country u would find pirated stuffs and DVD except China la as we ask them to make,cheaper ma.lol.If you see it in other countries it's probably imported from Malaysia anyway ;p We should be proud! Buatan Malaysia XD

You can find practically almost anything fake/pirated/illegal in Malaysia eg; Handbag, Watches, DVD, CD, Electrical stuffs, Fake Panadol, Fake degree XD, etc

7. Lowyat Plaza
Oh so u think those Cina Lala people work in lowyat dam low class all lahh...
They're the only reason why we can have super advance cyber cafe's and crazy modified PC, hardware etc..
We owe them big time in bringing in stuffs like hardware,software,underwear? haha , even all the other electronical items like ipod,mp3 players,Unlocked Iphone,etc.Moreover if not for those people working their hard asses to hack, we would have to pay RM100 for a Pc or playstation game and still using Windows 98. ;p

6. Malaysian timing
If a dinner/event/concert is SCHEDULED to start at 7 pm SHARP, Malaysians will be there at 8pm. Enough said.

and we can still blame every and any 'late-ness' and get off the hook by saying
"oh traffic jam laahh"
;D

( Thats why we did not win any medals in the olympics.We were late for the event.LOL just kidding XD )

5. Multi-racial nation
Have you seen any other country that has 3 or 4 different coloured skin talking to each other without guns?lol
We have to admit it,we have Malays,Indians,Chinese,Punjabis,Orang Asli's,Bidayuh,Kelabit,Penan,Murut,Melanau,Baba Nyonya,Ibans,Dayaks,Bajaus,Kadazans and SIKHISM X(inside joke ;p) etc
In other countries, you can go to a Chinese restaurant, to a rubber estate and to kampung areas and felt as if u travelled across 3 nations but in Malaysia, in one neighbourhood you can see one fella doing indian dance, another neighbour watching TVB drama and Chinese soap Operas and one more preparing to sembahyang.
Isn't it unique? I think so ;)

For example we're in Malaysia but we have Ayam Belanda, French Fries, Bombay toast, Selipar Jepun, mee Jawa, China Town, Swiss roll, Masjid India, Durian BelandaBukit China, Mee Siam, Sirap Bandung, Manila card, and to mix everything up just say Rojak. heeheh

Not only that, other countries have champagne,pina colada,wine etc
We have Michael Jackson (Soya Bean n Cincau)
That's a work of pure genius ;D

No where in the world u can find almost any kind of food available in any country but in Malaysia.
Every thing here in Malaysia is edible and tastes so great.
A Malaysian will always eat even if we're not hungry.True enough we live to eat not eat to live ;P
It can be 3 am and confirm there's some stalls be it McD, 24 hour mamak that will be open and people hanging out.
The food is too tempting here in Malaysia that we Malaysians while eating lunch can discuss about what to eat for dinner later or the next day's breakfast.

and I'm just browsing facebook and all with my iPhone on my side
Suddenly this weird foreign student came up to me.He was foreign as his way of talking is

So he was like 'wuurz eese thet urr iphonne??'

lol then i said yes looking rather scared as he looked like those serial killer face
then he asked me whether mine has applications on it and I was like gonna slap his face edi wei
cos who would have an iphone with no apps in it?

This was last saturday held in Sunway College;)
They have a massive auditorium and this year was the largest turnout both the sessions and night concert with 400+ people and 1200 people respectively

Awesome eh ;p

So yeah I was the night concert guitarist with Oth & Jennifer ;) and since i was the guitarist on the stage I can't take my own pictures right? lol
so i'm still waiting for my pictures as i don't know who has them in their camera.lol

However I got a few lahh from facebook and some blogs so here goes ;)

Alright we had Moral and computer accounting exam today..All I can say was the accounting test was disastrous as our class 'unfortunately' was given a harder paper to complete
SHIT right.Well thanks to HER we had a hard time doing our exam unlike other classes

Recording In Studio Part 1

So yeah as you know,
Cotton Candy have been in the studio to record our debut single Love Story cover ;p
Well it was so so so fun but very tiring as well
The studio owner said we were ahead of time as the average bands took more then 10 hours for one song.we managed to do it in 8 or 9 ;)

Still we're exhausted and we are still waiting for the final editing and what not to be done in a few days
Drums were first followed by Bass,Rhythm guitar (twice due to double trackking),Lead Guitar and finally Vocals.lol
We're planning to put in some synths,minor accoustic guitar parts and some drum sampling
XD

Cotton candy was 'on tour' to Port Dickson Bayu Beach Resort for a conference where we were sponsored to go as mucisians. hahaha

So yeah we thought sure the very boring wann la cos sure full of adults and we heard there was like 30 youths only?Lol

But it turned out to be opposite of what we thought and that was good as we made more cool awesome dude and dudettes =P

So much fun, I wished we knew each other on the first day...argh!
